  • 1/4 pound minced pork
  • 2 tablespoons finely minced sichuan preserved mustard root (see note)
  • 1 medium clove garlic, minced (about 2 teaspoons)
  • 1 tablespoon fermented chili bean sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons toasted and ground sichuan peppercorn (optional)
