- 1/2 vanilla bean
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 small plums, halved and pits removed
- 1/2 cup (100gr) flattened rice (use arborio if not available)
- 1 1/2 cups (315ml) whole milk
- 1/2 cup (60ml) heavy cream
- 1/4 cup (50gr) sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- chopped pistachios (optional)
