• 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 2 large eggs
• 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
• 1/4 cup bacon, cooked, drained, cooked and crumbled
• frosting
• 8 tbsp butter, room temperature
• 2 1/2 to 3 cups of powdered sugar
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tsp maple flavoring
• 2-3 tbsp half and half
• 3 tbsp cooked, crisp bacon, crumbled
