  • 2 t dried hibiscus petals
  • 1/2 t vanilla extract
  • 1/4 vanilla bean, scraped
  • 2 c cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c raw demerara sugar
  • 1 egg white mixed with one tablespoon water for wash (optional)
