  • 1/4 cup honey (orange blossom if you have it)
  • 3 large eggs at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest (from 2 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup freshly lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 cups (350 g) all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup (75 g) white granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey (orange blossom if you have it)
  • 1 cup (130 g) confectioners’ (powdered) sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons silver tequila
