Ingredients

  • 1 big potato. peeled &; cubed
  • 1 small cauliflower, florets broken into medium pieces
  • 2 carrots, cut into strips
  • 20 french beans, whole
  • 1 bell pepper/capsicum, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup sprouted moong
  • 2 green hot peppers, like serrano or thai bird – slit vertically
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled &; grated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder (more or less)
  • salt
  • 1/4 cup craisins or raisins
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • a squeeze of fresh lime
