Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds (1 large) daikon radish, peeled
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups white rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • half recipe steamed radish cake (about 25 cubes)
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced in half moons
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 green onions, white and green parts, cut into 1-inch lengths
  • 1 large handful bean sprouts
  • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten with a pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons kecap manis
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
