  • 1 tablespoon dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon dill seed
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour or bread flour
  • rich egg glaze (optional): 1 large egg yolk or 1 large egg, at room temperature beaten with 1 tablespoon milk or cream
