  • 6-inch piece seedless english cucumber
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 cups canned tomato clam juice, chilled
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon tabasco
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ pound cooked, shelled, and deveined medium shrimp
  • ½ pound lump crabmeat
  • 2 slices firm white bread
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 pressed cloves garlic
  • ½ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
