  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt (read this)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup thinly slivered basil leaves, lightly packed
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
