  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
