  • 2 -4 tbsp kirsch
  • 175 g (6.2oz) plain flour, plus 2 tbsp extra
  • 4 egg yolks, plus 1 egg
  • 160 g (5.6oz) caster sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g (7.1oz) unsalted butter, softened, plus extra for greasing
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
