  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, roughly chopped pecans or unsalted cashews
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup shredded or flaked coconut, toasted
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped dried fruit (raisins, dates, figs, blueberries, cranberries and/or apricots)
