Ingredients

  • 10 small flour tortillas
  • 1/2 purchased rotisserie chicken, taken off the bone and shredded
  • 1 can black beans
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • handful swiss chard or other green, chopped
  • 1 cup corn kernels (frozen is fine)
  • 1 tablespoon adobo, from chiles in adobo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3/4 cup canned tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese, preferably a mix of sharp cheddar and jack
  • salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 1 pint raspberry sorbet
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup water
