  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp (packed) brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 3 bartlett pears, cored and chopped
  • extra maple syrup, if desired
