  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • a few turns of freshly ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups (5 ounces) grated cheese (emmentaler, gruyere, cheddar, monterey jack, or mixed)
  • 2 cups cooked spaghetti
