  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 3/4 cup walnut halves, lightly toasted on a baking sheet in a 350°f (175°c) oven, then coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped crystallized ginger
