  • 80g unsalted butter
  • 15 milliliters olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 14g brown or white fine sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 green apples
  • 50g light / brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 4 tablespoons honey (manuka if you can)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • sprinkling sliced almonds and oats
