  • 2 tablespoons almond paste
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground cardamom seeds (optional)
